Omaha Organics Lawn Care owner Rob Elder interviewing Paul Tukey from Safe Lawns at Earth Day Omaha 2013.  The footage will be use in an upcoming project that should be released early 2014. The video will be part of a company overview and will highlight some of the key benefits of how to use and why to use organic products and approaches.

Accomplishments

Paul Tukey is an American journalist, author, filmmaker, TV host, consultant and motivational public speaker, who is internationally recognized as a leader in landscape sustainability. Winner of the prestigious Horticultural Communicator of the Year Award from the American Horticultural Society, Mr. Tukey is lauded for his ability to turn a mundane subject — the landscape — into a rousing public discourse. He has been featured in thousands of media outlets from Good Morning America in the U.S., to the CBC in Canada, as well as National Geographic, Readers Digest and the New York Times, which called him “The godfather of the natural land care movement.” He recently accepted the position of Chief Sustainability Officer at Glenstone in Maryland, where he plans to help create a “living classroom” on the grounds of the magnificent modern art museum founded by Mitchell and Emily Rales.

Paul Tukey is also the co-author of Tag, Toss & Run with Victoria Rowell, and the author of The Organic Lawn Care Manual. He is the national spokesperson for SafeLawns, a nonprofit advocacy group for chemical-free lawn care. He was formerly host of People, Places, and Plants on HGTV and is an award-winning film producer. He and his family enjoy playing lawn games in their yard in Rhode Island.

Glenstone

Paul is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer at The Glenstone Museum, in Potomac, Maryland, near Washington, D.C. He develops sustainability protocols for the Glenstone Foundation.
